Situation: My body is trying to hold on to EVERY pound and I can't seem to break this stall.
I have increased exercise, did the 5 day pouch test (that helped a bit) and I'm VERY carb careful...

Suggestions or tricks on how to break this stall?
Maybe the increased exercise is building muscle (I do feel stronger! )?

First drink water, then some more water and then some more and when you are done with that drink some more and when your teeth are floating your good.   lol.  I think water really works well!  Good luck to you sounds like you are doing wonderful with just what you are doing.  And remember muscle weighs more than fat.

Good Luck

Well you know that the more you exercise that muscle does weigh more.  I am not the one to answer this question I have nothing but problems now, trying to get 10 lbs off is like losing 150.  Too bad they couldn't cut off my head so if forgot about the love of food that I have.   Just relax, you have done so well, extremely well, that maybe your body is just sick of losing and wants a rest.  Just stop worrying about it, you are such a winner at losing already, just hang in there and do what you have always done, it will start again.

I upped my protein and water as well as exercising.

My stall buster is an In-N-Out cheeseburger, protein style (no bun, wrapped in lettuce), no dressing. That blast of protein usually kicks the weight loss back in gear.

The way I broke the stall is LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!!!!  Seriously.. I drank water till I practically grew gills!  And it really did help.  I was peeing all day long, but it helped!  Big time!

That also helped me to not gain weight when I broke my ankle and couldn't walk for 3 and a half months..   I actually came back to work skinnier than when I left!!!!!

Good luck!
